De Grift

La commune d’Apeldoorn et le syndicat des eaux du "veluwe" (le plus grand parc national des Pays-Bas) s'attachent à préserver et mettre en valeur les plans d'eau de la région. Dans le cadre de cette politique, le ruisseau "De Grift", enfoui sous la ville servant initialement à évacuer les eaux de pluie, à eté ramené partiellement à la surface.
L'objectif final est de le rendre complètement visible et de le laisser serpenter à travers la ville.

The commune of Apeldoorn and the water union of "the veluwe" (the largest national park of The Netherlands) are willing to preserve and emphasize the water plans of the area. Within this policy the small river "De Grift" hidden under the city and initially being used to evacuate rainwater, was brought back partially to the surface. Final objectif is to make it completely visible and to let it curve through the city again.
